English translation issues
on May 11th, 2009
Some of our non German-speaking customers are a little bit confused about the German holiday calendar and German “Working Time Type” entries that are currently generated for new clients. We have to apolgize for this translation problem, it’s part of our free “German in 3 minutes” program. No, of course it’s a beta problem and it will be fixed at least until the 1st release. For the moment, we would recommend you to manually rename them. Renaming “Working Time Types”: Go to the “Administration” tab and select the “Working Time Types” tab. Click on the “Bürozeit” entry with your right mouse button and select “Edit Work Time Type” from the context menu. Now you can rename the entry to “Office time” or what ever you want. “Dienstreise” means business travel in German, so you can also rename this entry. If you’d like to add some more “Working Time Types”, just select “New Working Time Type” from the conext menu. Holiday Calendar: At the moment, the calendar is generated for Germany and Austria. With the final release it will be possible to select a country to generate the calendar for. It is usually possible to edit the holiday calendar for your needs, but currently there is a bug that prevents you from editing the holiday calendar. This bug will be fixed within the next week!
